resident evil gets another vote from me. Although I admit I must try out dead rising and others. L4D2 is on my PC and I agree it is top notch.
Yes RE is awesome. Lot more linear game play than it used to be but It's still an amazing series. They never fail to disappoint. Nice hub sir.
Sadly RE5 and RE4 are not scary at all, unlike all of their PS1 and PS2 predecessors. Pretty much unlimited ammo makes it just a 3rd person shooter. none of the awkward camera angles that prevented you from seeing whats around the corner was a lot of what made the older games scary!

Resident evil 5 is not zombies i do not care what anyone has to say they are infected with Las Plagas (from Spanish, literally meaning The Plagues) are a breed of parasitic organisms. Unlike the t-virus, which turned its victims into mindless zombies, the victims of Las Plagas (such as the Ganados and Majini) become much stronger and highly resistant to pain, while working collectively to pursue their targets. Another side effect is the loss of higher reasoning, except in select subjects (who still are unable to shake off the need to obey higher orders) and the full compliance to the Control Plaga and, as embodied by Lord Osmund Saddler

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is good to me. I like the original zombies more than ones in RE 5. I love L4D and L4D2 though, The Witch is my favorite thing.
the "F.E.A.R" series are not zombie games at all. But damn imho they're awesome "horror" games. The first one was scary as hell.

I'd like to see a game created where the character has to secure safe points/towns/supplies/vehicles, as in there are none to be had at first...choosing to be either good or evil along the way. Something similar to Fallout 3, but more present time and zombies and more puzzle solving to survive.
I'm thinking of something akin to the John Talon zombie novel series. Any thoughts?
RES 3 was the last RES game that was epic, i mean come on for most of that game you had a super zombie that went round with a rocket launcher and a mini gun and if you got in his way then bye bye. L4D and L4D2 suck its just another game that get shiped out way to fast and gets old and anoying after 20 mins. we need a new zombie game that takes the fear factor out of RES 3 and insted of just sh*ting you up it makes you wanna turn the game off. that would be a beautiful thing to see. and any one who says F.E.A.R 1,2,3 is a sceary game needs there head seeing to. i love F.E.A.R but its just another F,P,S. the best zombie game is RES 3 and if you disagree then all that says is you never finished it or it was to hard for you or you never played it. id like to see you find 1000 bullets on that game. my vote gose to RES 3 100%
